  • Deputy Headteacher

    Saltash Community School

    Contract: Full time permanent

    Salary: L20 – L24 (£79,475 - £87,651 pa) dependent on experience

    To start: 1st September 2025, depending on current contract

    Closing date: 9am on Monday 28th April 2025

    Interviews on Thursday 15th May 2025 and the morning of Friday 16th May 2025

    Saltash Community School is a co-educational 11-18 school of 1200 students including a vibrant and highly effective sixth form and incorporating an Area Resource Base supporting students with complex learning difficulties. The school is an active member of SMART (South East Cornwall Multi Academy Regional Trust) Schools’ Trust together with two further secondary schools at Liskeard and Looe, three primary schools and two nurseries.

    We are looking for an experienced leader, with a proven track record of school improvement, within an inclusive setting, to help further develop the school on the journey to excellence. The successful candidate will be the sole deputy for the school and will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly collaborative and supportive Trust, gaining valuable experience to aid progression to a headship.
